Chagall, Marc, Bonjour sur Paris, 1955

This original color lithograph by Marc Chagall depicts key elements of Chagallian mythology: the loving couple, the rooster, the bouquet of flowers and the moon. It was produced on Fernand Mourlot’s presses, on the occasion of the publication of the album Mourlot Centenaire for the centenary of the Mourlot printing works, featuring works by major artists of the XXᵉ century: Matisse, Miró, Légeretc. The original lithograph was created in 1952, but not published until 1955.
