The lithograph presents two of J-P. Cassigneul's favorite subjects: women and gardens bursting with a thousand flowers. The artist projects us into the "secret" garden of these two women, whom he depicts as two silhouettes strolling through a colorful, richly decorated garden, the warmth of the surrounding vegetation inviting us to escape. The viewer is amazed and curious about the murmurs that can be imagined emerging from the composition.

"Cassigneul is a magician who makes a mockery of time and space (...) in the end, and at the end of all ends, he pushes with the tip of his brush the gateway to our secret gardens. A magician, we say, but also an enchanter" [1].
