Couchant

This landscape, with its air of the South of France, is typical of the work of painter Roger Mühl, who strives to reproduce reality while enriching it with his personal impressions. The gradation of colors down to the light blue of the most distant mountains evokes the clouds of heat that, after the scorching summer days of the South, envelop the hills, obliterating all relief.
