According to Paul Jenkins himself, this title, alone or followed by a phrase or key words, illustrates: "the capture of reality in its perpetual metamorphoses, both the act of painting and its final result".
Paper thus becomes a space for redefining color, light and space. The act of painting becomes a subject in itself: "Color is a sensation, not an external manifestation of nature". This is why a poetic form emerges from this vibrant composition, where paint flows, bleeds and accumulates.
