In this black watercolor print, Bernard Buffet takes up the Tropezian landscape, but in duller tones. In the foreground, the vegetation invites us to discover a picturesque Mediterranean landscape. At the top, the sky, tarnished by these strokes, turns blue-gray, while the stylized mountains support the austerity that emanates from the work and is echoed on a turbulent sea carrying a few sailing boats on its waves.
