Miró, Joan, La Fronde, 1969

“From 1967 onwards, Robert Dutrou introduced Miro to a new technique invented by Henri Goetz, carborundum etching”. 1

With its rather light background, La Fronde is one of Joan Miro’s “tableau etchings”, the result of which is a perfect example of his mastery of the surrealist imagination.
