“autumn and its golden light…” (1).

This hillside landscape reveals autumnal nature to the viewer. The painter uses his color palette to express his perception of reality, in which the golden hues of autumn are exacerbated. The flat areas of paint create relief on the canvas, showing a rich, dense nature. The viewer’s eye is drawn to the foreground, while the horizon becomes smoother and softer.
