Miró, Joan, Engraved and lithographed work, 1969

This catalog, written for an exhibition of Joan Miro’s work at the Galerie Cremer in Geneva, is a true work of art. The cover features a color lithograph entitled L’Oiseau mangeant le feu. The deep black outlines the bird’s silhouette, while the bright blue-green, yellow and red splashes of color create a marvelous universe.

This copy is enriched by an original drawing on the title page, making it a unique work. It features the artist’s best-known motifs and fetish colors, which echo, more lightly, those on the cover.
