The silhouette of a figure carrying two heavy suitcases seems to be discernible. The title, in the plural, indicates that while the work represents a single traveler, it has a more general value. In the end, all departures have one thing in common: the departing traveler’s gaze is turned towards a place that the viewer watching the other depart cannot perceive.
