Haas, Michel, Bouquet X, 2006
2006
Mixed media on paper
133 x 75 cm
Signed by the artist lower left
This huge bouquet of flowers in its black vase is presented as an object, without background or frame. For Michel Haas, paper is once again the material of his work, not a support. These red flowers with their green stems look burnt or dusty, as if they had been on display for an eternity, without having completely perished.
